A Team You Can Trust
Best Rate Towing and Repair was born in 1996 from the garage of Joel and Peggy Johnson in their Belgrade Montana home. Joel, a mechanic by trade, started the now largest towing company in the Gallatin Valley with a used 1985 Chevrolet Tow Truck. While Joel towed the vehicles and worked on them too, Peggy answered the phones and handled the bookkeeping side of the business. With two small children, PJ and Holly in tow, Best Rate Towing and Repair company was off and running.
In the early 2000's, Joel, Peggy, PJ, and Holly moved across Belgrade to the present location on Amsterdam Road. With the bigger shop and property the business blossomed too. As the economy boomed, so did the demand for the towing industry in the Gallatin Valley. In 2007, Best Rate Towing took the plunge on a brand new 35 ton wrecker.Now with the capacity to tow just about anything, the small automotive shop needed to grow too. Best Rate Diesel Repair was brought to life shortly after.
Now the company has grown to the largest towing and recovery company in the Gallatin Valley with over 11 tow trucks on the road 24/7 365.
